I believe you should always go the extra mile and give your very best, but it is crucial to find the balance between living each day to its fullest or being drug down by perfectionism for your life to have the purpose and meaning that God intended for you. Of course, this is much easier said than done, I know, I still struggle with perfection on many "angles" even at a half a century. As you get older, thankfully, you do mellow some, due to moving slower and only being able to accomplish so much in a certain amount of time, or your energy level decreases or both. *smile Never forget to put a silly hat on, do a couple of snazzy dance steps, always have a song in your heart and praises on your lips,... being perfect can wait. *huggles

Welcome back, friend! I've missed you! I would host people in my home more often. We used to have people over all the time, but now the house is always messy because of the kids and I'm embarrassed of it. We still have people over somewhat frequently, but I hate that I stress so much about cleaning before they come. I wish I felt comfortable just opening the door and exposing all our domestic filth to the world!

Yes, perfectionism can be paralyzing. Half the time, what looks like less than perfect to us looks amazing to others. I love your new website! =)
